I always wanted to be part of a wedding, and this summer I was honored to be part of not only one, but two! My little Sis got married at the end of May and my dear friend, Danielle, got married this past Saturday. It was a wonderful experience, but I am relieved that the wedding madness is over!!!! I don't want anyone reading this to think that I am a complete drunk... but when I have an overnight sitter and there are special occasions - yes, I do drink. And yes, I do drink somewhat 'heavily'. Anyway, had a few at the wedding and managed to get myself a pretty good rug burn on my upper lip area. It hurts and I feel like a complete idiot. Tell me how I fell on my face and only got my lip? Not a scratch on my nose.... but it is what it is and this too shall heal. I'm hoping it doesn't scar... but I'm not worried about my Supermodel contracts either. ;)

ReplyDeleteLOL I can't wait to see pics!! You're really lucky you have an overnight sitter you can trust. I still have yet to leave Jack at all! I finally had my first drink in over 2 years last month! Only one though because I was driving and had Jack, but it was a nice indulgence! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm laughing so hard right now!!! I completely understand. As soon as I get a night off of Mommy duty, I kind of turn into a lush ( plus, my tolerance has probably drastically decreased). Sounds like you had a great time though... Minus the whole lip thing, lol!!!
ReplyDeleteOh hun I definitely can relate. When I actually go out to drink I'll drink. It's def a little mommy time to herself, haha. Anyway hope you heal soon! I've done a couple dumb things too and have scars of it .. so sad. lol I try to be quite careful now, haha.
