Twins Party. No Internet. Bad Momma.

I'm gonna make this short & sweet because I'm just at the very tail-end of my lunch hour.

Saturday, we went to my cousin and his wife's house for a Twins Party for my Aunt Mavis. She is the biggest Twins fan I know and the family went in on a plaque at the new Twins Stadium for her and there was a presentation of sorts before the game. We were all dressed for the day and I think B enjoyed all of the attention, he was a wonderful Baby.... as usual. :)

We are again, at home, without internet. Hopefully we should have it again tonight but until then... not much blogging will be happening!!!!! I'm busy at work...which blows. Although on the flip side, it makes my days go by much more quickly. Which makes it feel like I'm not away from B as long as I actually am. I miss him !!!!

Quick Bad Momma Story. Last night I was changing B's diaper after his bedtime bottle {the first formula bottle he nearly finished!} and I was messing around with the wipes, trying to get one out... and I didn't even notice him peeing all over his face! OMG, I felt SOOOOOO bad because of course he doesn't know to even put his hands up to stop it and it's, of course, directly onto his poor, sweet, little face. I still feel so badly about it all... but we washed him up and gave him a little bath... sorry Baby!!!!! Mommy will pay better attention, I promise!!!!

Alright... back to it.... reluctantly!!!!

  1. I swear I'm not laughing hysterically...ok, maybe I am. It's ok. That's an inherent risk of having a little boy... :)

  2. Yeah, I wouldn't call that a bad mama story. More like a funny baby story! I agree with work- I love being busy because the day goes by so fast. And the work never ends so I'm always busy!!

  4. Hahahaha! When Cameron was about a week old hubby was changing his diaper....and as soon as he lifted the diaper, he of course started peeing. Hubby slapped the diaper down....only to push it in the direction to make him pee in his poor little face! I sweetly reminded him a couple times the first two weeks with Ethan not to make him pee in his face...lol. He rolled his eyes, but hey, it has been 8 years! lol. Not a bad momma...that's a funny boy story!

    Oh and I don't know if it's just my computer, but you last couple of posts I haven't been able to see pictures :( Is it just me ladies???? I love seeing your pictures, so I hope it's not my dumb computer!

  5. B was probably wondering what the heck was going on. Speaking of peeing, Everett did the same thing after I gave him a bath tonight. You're so not a bad mommy, A! You will look back and laugh and I'm sure B will too when you tell him that story. ;)

    {Btw, I work full time out of my home. It's hard getting work done AND watching Everett but I wouldn't trade it for the world. I get to take care of him and be with him all the time!}
